Yggdrasil Gaming reported Q3 results


Yggdrasil Gaming, the leading software provider for online casinos, reported financial results for the third quarter.
Revenues for this period increased by 299% year-on-year to Q3 2015. The EBITDA margin amounted to 44%. In the Q3 the company released three new games: Double Dragons, Big Blox, Legend of the White Snake Lady. The number of player transaction (rounds) increased by 427% year-on-year to 438 million. Mobile gaming has grown to be 54% of the total gross game win. Moreover, Yggdrasil Gaming paid out the largest ever jackpot, which amounted to EUR 2.9 million.
Fredrik Elmqvist, CEO of Yggdrasil Gaming, commented on the Q3 financial reports:
“Yggdrasil remains in a phase of rapid expansion, as displayed by the quarter’s surging revenue growth. While the immediate results have been impressive, it is equally important that we lay the foundations for sustainable, long-term growth. We are expected to continue growing much faster than the market and we will carry on investing in our business while also delivering results moving forward.”
During the reported period two new license agreements were signed. The company granted two licenses by Romania’s National Gambling Office permitting the hosting of gaming platforms and the distribution of gaming software in the regulated market.
