The company “Unibet Group Plc” will appear onto the fund market under a new brand name — “Kindred Group Plc” on the 12th of December 2016.
This decision was accepted by Unibet’s shareholders at the special general meeting on the 6th of December. Thus, such brands as iGame, Bingo.com, MariaCasino and Stan James will officially belong to Kindred Group Plc. The new corporate brand name and logo will be expected to come soon.
The event was not unexpected because the Unibet management appealed to investors with this proposal in September. In their opinion, it will help to consolidate the assets of several gambling brand names under the unified corporate name.
Anders Strom, the founder and Head of the Board of Unibet, approved the rebranding. By his words, the fast-changing industry needs accuracy. The renaming of the group was aimed to avoid confusion and create better conditions for the further development.
Unibet is known to be Maltese firm with Swedish capital. It founded in 1997. Unibet operates mainly in the European and Australian gaming markets, offering to its customers the services of casino games, poker, pre-match bets, live bets, slot machines.
